Scalloped Oval Card

Stamp Sets:  Summer Silhouettes, Four You

Inks:  Strawberry Slush, Mossy Meadow

Papers:  Mossy Meadow, All Abloom DSP Stack, Very Vanilla

Accessories:  Candy Dots (Daffodil Delight), Stampin' Dimensionals

Tools:  Ovals Collection Framelits

Technique:  Cut a piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock to 5 1/2" by 8 1/2" and fold in half to make a regular 5 1/2" by 4 1/4" card.  Place the scalloped framelit over the folded card so that part of the folded edge in inside the framelit then run through your Big Shot.

Tools:  Scalloped Tag Topper Punch, Corner Punch, Bitty Banners Framelits

Techniques:  After cutting the Happy Birthday banner on Whisper White cardstock, glue it to a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock and cut around the banner to make a small boarder.

Use your Stampin' Blendabilities Marker in the medium shade of Daffodil Delight to color the Pearl Basic Jewels before adhearing them to your card.

Technique:  I used the Floating Reinker Watercolor technique I found on Youtube, however, I used Watercolor Paper instead of Glimmer Paper.

Flowers and Sequins

Stamp Sets:  Flower Shop, Four You

Tools:  Pansy Punch, 1/4" Circle Punch

Technique:  Punch the corners off of a rectangular piece of cardstock using the circle punch to make it look like a ticket.

Stampin' Up 2014-16 In Colors

Tools:  Artisan Label Punch, Pansy Punch, Itty Bitty Accents Punch, 1/4" Circle Punch, 1/8" Circle Punch.

Technique:  Wrap a piece of ribbon around front of cardstock and secure it to the back.  Cut a second piece of ribbon about the same length.  Slip the second piece under the first and tie it into a bow.  You can now slide the bow up and down to position it where you want it.

Flippin' Gift Card Holder

Tools:  Circle Card Thinlit, 2 1/2" Circle Punch, Word Bubbles Framlits
Technique:  Cut DSP into a strip 8 1/2" long and just shy of 5 1/2" wide.  Use the Circle Card thinlit, lining up the right side of the card with the edge of the thinlit and weave the left side of the card over the die so that it will not cut your card off (See Example 1 below).  This will create a score line for your gift card pocket.  Use the 2 1/2 Circle punch to punch the notch for the gift card (See Example 2 below).  (You will also use the circle punch and the scallop circle thinlit to create the frame on the front of the card)

Summer Silhouettes, Early Espresso DSP

Stamp Sets:  Summer Silhouettes

Inks:  Perfect Plum, Early Espresso

Pens:  Elegant Eggplant

Paper:  Whisper White, Perfect Plum, Neutrals DSP (in Early Espresso)

Accessories:  Rhinestone Basic Jewels
Tools:  2 1/2" Circle Punch, 2" Circle Punch

Technique:  After stamping the flower in Perfect Plum, ink the tips of each petal with the Elegant Eggplant pen.  Use the pen ink and stamp the center of the flower, then fussy cut each flower.  Punch the Perfect Plum paper using the 2" Circle Punch.  Line up the plum paper with the DSP and trace the circle on the DSP, then use the 2 1/2" Circle Punch to punch the DSP.

Tools:  Word Bubbles Framelit, Little Letters Thinlits, Simply Scored Stylus

Inside Technique:  Create a pop-up card.  Fold the inside paper in half as you normally would.  Measure 1/2 inch from each edge at the center fold and cut a slit 1 inch long.  Using the scoring stylus, create a fold line between the slits.  See picture below to see how to fold to create the pop-up shelf.

Cut skinny strips of the acetate and attach each letter to one strip.  Glue strips to the top and front of the shelf created by the pop-up.

Tools:  Corner Punch, Scallop Trim Boarder Punch, Tasteful Trim Bigz XL

Technique:  Run DSP through your Big Shot using the Scallop Trim Boarder.  Using this boarder, line it up on the Scallop Trim Boarder and run it through your Big Shot a second time. Do the same with the Glimmer Paper.  Now you have skinnier scallop trims that can be braided.

1.  Cut bottom off the bag
Technique:  To prepare the baggies, see the pictures to the left.  Run the lower half of baggie through your Big Shot with the folder of your choice (fold the top half of the bag over the folder so it will fit through your Big Shot).
